Ask anyone what their favourite food is and you are likely to recieve lots of different (and some interesting) answers. Some may prefer continental cuisine, others remain traditional to their beloved British dishes and others may constantly change their minds depending on the day of the week.
Admittedly I love chinese food especially when its cooked fresh by my beloved but there are other days I could murder a lovely Sunday Roast. However, one yummy food I can NEVER resist and have become increasingly addicted to is (Drum roll please*) a lovely Ham Cob.
My boyfriend laughs at my strange obsession with the fact I rank this snack above ALL others but I dont know what it is that makes them so irresitible. Once, I ate seven ham cobs in a day and as a result suffered huge stomach pains but at the time I enjoyed each & every one.
Its a very rare occasion that we have fresh cobs (ONLY acceptable with CountryLife butter) and fresh butchers ham in the house and this evening that rarest of occassions has occured! Im writting on my blog in the hope that if my fingers are busy typing then they WONT be busy spreading the butter on that nice fluffy cobWe!
