I have been a yo-yo dieter ever since my first diet probabley at the age of 11. My Mother really has created a monster in the sence she too has always been a huge yoyo dieter and undoubtedly weighes herself every single day of her life. Often people who weight themselves so regularly are dissappointed on a daily basis because you are not gaurenteed to loose weight every single day.
At the beginning of this mission to loose 4 stone I promised myself I would have a weekly weigh in but avoid the scales for the rest of the week. However, today I got really bored after my work out and completing my dull domestic chores so I faced those daunting digits!
We in day is Monday, thats two days away and WOW! Iv lost 3lbs so far this week....thats making it exactly ONE STONE! In 20 days :-) Im so chuffed and just hope I can keep it up and produce the same results next week.
Mum says that she recognises the change in both my appearance and attitude since starting this healthy eating plan but if im honest appart from the fact my clothes feel loose I cant really see a big difference. I cant wait for that moment I look in the mirror and think 'OMG my tummy's going!'
For all of you fellow dieters out there, you will appreciate and understand that all your hard work and sacrifice can sometimes seem pointless when you get 1 or maybe 2 measly pounds weightloss on D-day BUT stay positive and look at the bigger picture...if you loose just ONE pound a week that nearly 4stone weight lose!
