Distraction techniques.....

Often when trying to give up something you love whether it be junkfood, smoking, drugs or alcohol you find you come to brick wall and boredom sets in.

Currently unemployed and looking for work post University I have lots of spare time on my hands, the problem is I DONT want all that spare time to result in ANOTHER spare tyre. Normally Id spend my free time making food, eating food or thinking about my next meal so what on earth am I going to do to distract myself!

Its only day one and here at the strategies Iv tried so far but feel free to comment with your suggestions.

1) Cleaning the house
2) Sorting out the wardrobe
3) Colour co-ordinating the shoes
4) Writing a blog (Yes here I am)/Looking for Jobs

HELP!
