Oi you! Stop losing weight, your making me look bad! Ha

When I met Andrew over a year ago it was a total coinsidence that we were both undergoing a big physical transformation and had recently lost loads of weight.

In the 8months leading upto that moment I had gone from 19.5 to 15.5stone, why? for one reason and one reason only, not for myself but to find a guy. Suprisingly I found him in the form of a lovely Scottish guy who had a passion for food and an even bigger passion for floral shorts (nobodys perfect).

Once happy in love, the last thing on my mind was dieting and cutting back on the things I loved like chocolates and bread. One thing led to another and over the next 13months I put on nearly 30pounds. I cant believe I let it get this far, im getting bigger whilst Andrews getting smaller and healthier by the minute. At a BBQ recently I made him go change because his once tightly fitted tshirt hung on him like a ladies nightshirt.

It doesnt help that he is such an amazing cook. Around him I know I can be myself and he loves me regardless but I'v become too comfy in my eating ways again and this has to stop NOW! I guess I sometimes translate all of Andrew's motivation and kind words of encouragement as a harsh male dictatorship...so I rebel. Nows the time for change, its time to let him help me and allow myself to work alongside him to get the results I want!

Yes I have the 'will power of a flear' but this flea is about to loose some serious weight! Pah!

  1. I just came across your Blog and started following and this Blog post just spoke to me. I so feel you, recently I lost weight about 20 pounds and managed to keep it off for about a year. Then I studied abroad (still doing it now) and being here for 5 months in counting left me with a weight gain of 10 pounds. Meanwhile my boyfriend lost 40 pounds and honestly I was/am a little jealous. It sucks and the worse part is you know you should be supportive but it seems like for guys it is so much easier to lose weight then for us gals. Hang in there though it seems like you are doing great. We all have struggles but we can do it :).
